Project Outline
This was my first client project, which I undertook with a few classmates. We began by conducting client outreach, offering free deliverables to gain experience in client relations within the digital marketing field.
For this project, I was the designer and was responsible for designing the social media posts, blogs, and the presentation of the proposal.
Project Phases
Phase 1: Project Initiation and Planning
- Define project objectives and scope.
- Identify team roles and responsibilities.
- Develop a project timeline and milestones.
- Conduct initial client outreach and secure a client.
Phase 2: Client Onboarding and Discovery
- Meet with the client to understand their needs, goals, and target audience.
- Gather relevant information and existing materials from the client.
- Conduct a competitor analysis and market research.
- Create a project brief based on the client's requirements and research findings.
Phase 3: Strategy Development
- Develop a digital marketing strategy tailored to the client's needs.
- Outline key deliverables, such as social media content, blog topics, and proposal presentation.
- Create a content calendar for social media posts and blog publications.
- Present the strategy to the client for feedback and approval.
Phase 4: Design and Content Creation
- Design social media graphics and layouts.
- Write & design blog posts and other content pieces.
- Develop the proposal presentation, including design elements and key points.
- Review and refine all content and designs based on team feedback.
Phase 5: Project Closure and Evaluation
- Conduct a final project review meeting with the client.
- Document key learnings and insights from the project.
- Complete any remaining deliverables and finalize the project.
- Reflect on the project experience and apply learnings to future projects.
